Did You Know?

The transport industry either charges on the dead weight of an item or the volumetric weight, whichever is greater. The volumetric weight accounts for the amount of space the freight occupies. For example, if you were to ship a bulky but lightweight item, it is likely you will be charged on the size of the item rather than the dead weight. To calculate the volumetric weight of you item, enter your measurements above. Make sure you measure from the widest points of your item and round up to the closest centimetre.
